Fourteen members of Post #14 and one member of Walter Skiba Post #20 had the opportunity to make once-in-a-lifetime trip from Syracuse, NY to Arlington National Cemetery to commemorate Veteran's Day at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We had one WWII veteran, four from the Korean War, six from Vietnam and four from Iraq-Afghanistan. We also had two guests who are Iraq-Afghanistan veterans, the daughter and family of past post commander Frederick G. Rogusz and our spouses and guests. Our thanks goes to our Post Commander Geoff Ciereck for all his tireless efforts in planning and leading us in this pilgrimage. We are especially thankful for all of the contributions and donations from our friends that made this trip possible.
